The annual State Teacher Eligibility Test in Odisha is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha annually. This examination aims to shortlist and select candidates who plan to become teachers of classes I-VIII in Government/Private aided/Private unaided schools in Odisha. This examination is conducted in two parts Category 1 also known as Paper-I and Category 2 also known as Paper-II.
Teachers who clear this examination are provided with Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test certification and their score is valid up to 7 years from the date of clearing the examination. Eligibility Criteria
The Board of Secondary Education has set certain eligibility criteria for OTET to shortlist the applications submitted by candidates, matching which an applicant is allowed to sit for the examination. OTET Admit Card
The OTET admit card gets issued just a few days before the examination by the Board of Secondary Education Odisha (BSEO). To download the hall ticket, candidates need to enter their Registration number and Date of birth/ password. The candidates get a separate OTET admit card for both paper 1 & paper 2 examinations. The candidates can download their OTET admit card only through the online mode. It is compulsory for all the candidates to download and bring their OTET admit card to the exam center.
