AILET Full Form – All India Law Entrance Test

The All India Law Entrance Test is the national-level Law Exam that is conducted by the National Law University in Delhi. It is mandatory for students to appear for this exam if they are thinking of studying Law at National Law University, Delhi. The total Exam Duration is ninety minutes, in which you have to answer 150 questions, asked from the below chapters.

  • English
  • Logical Reasoning
  • General Knowledge.

The candidates need to have passed the 10+2 exam with at least an aggregate score of 50% from a recognized board in any stream to apply for this exam. However, when it comes to the question of age limit, there isn’t any. 

However, there is another exam for law in India that is important – the Common Law Admission Test or CLAT as it is commonly referred to as. This raises an important question – what is the difference between CLAT and AILET? They are both law entrance exams in India. The latter is for admission exclusively in NLUs while the former can help students seek admission to multiple colleges. There is also no limit to the number of times a person can appear for the exam.
