Verbal and Numerical ability is tested commonly for all who are appearing for the exam, but the GATE syllabus for each individual exam the student is appearing for is different, meaning that there are 29 different syllabi for each paper. The student can download their respective syllabi and prepare for their exams accordingly. The result of this will then determine their admission and financial assistance to PG Programs with the Ministry of Education (MoE) and other Government Assistantships and Scholarships, which depends on the admission criteria of the admitting institute. Some PSUs also consider the GATE Score for their recruitment.
