The Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) is an exam conducted once every year by the Board of Secondary Education Haryana. This exam is used to judge the eligibility of an individual for a teaching post in Haryana Schools. HTET exam is mainly categorized into three levels – Primary Teacher, Trained Graduate Teacher, and Post Graduate Teacher. Candidates of the age group 18 to 38 can appear for the examination.
The TET result certificate is valid for seven years from the date of issue. By qualifying for the written test, an individual becomes eligible for the respective teaching post. The exam is conducted in offline mode in English as well as Hindi languages.
HTET Exam Analysis: Overview
Each Level has 150 questions that have to be attempted within 150 minutes. The HTET exam is a state-level examination conducted in three levels. There are
- Level I – For Primary Level Teaching (Grade I to V)
- Level II – For Trained Graduate Teacher (Grade VI to VIII)
