The Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) is an eligibility test for candidates interested in teaching. The Board of Secondary Education in Haryana (BSEH) conducts the HTET every year. HTET is organized for teacher recruitment across several levels in Haryana State Government schools, including Primary Teacher (PRT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT). Selection Process for HTET 2021
The steps of the HTET selection procedure are as follows:

Educational background:
- Primary Teacher (Level 1 – Classes 1–5): 12th-grade diploma in elementary education is required (D.EI.Ed)
- Graduate Teacher (Level 2 – Classes 6 through 8): Post Graduate Teacher (Level 3 – Above Class 8) with a Bachelor’s Degree and a B.Ed: B.Ed. and a Master’s Degree
- The age of the candidate must be between 18 and 38 to apply for HTET Vacancy 2021.
Level 1 (PRT – Primary Teacher for Class I – V)

It just contains one sheet of paper. The questions asked in the exam are usually of the objective pattern. There will be 150 multiple-choice questions. The exam will take two and a half hours to complete. The test can be taken both in English and Hindi as per the comfort of the applicant.
Level 2 (TGT – Trained Graduate Teacher for Class VI to VIII: )
Question Types and Standards –
Candidates taking the Level II test will only have to take one paper. The test will consist of objective-style questions and will last two and a half hours. Each question is worth one point.
Level 3 (Post Graduate Teacher – PGT for higher classes)

This category will feature one examination for candidates taking the Level III exam. The test mainly involves questions of the objective type (MCQs) and will last two and a half hours. Each question is worth one point. There are 150 questions in all.
