NTA has released the official notification for JEE examination. However, there is a slight change in JEE exam pattern this year. As per the new exam pattern, questions with Numerical Value Answers will be carrying negative marks. The JEE Main exam is divided into two parts: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is for students appearing for the B.Tech/B.E. examination. In contrast, Paper 2 is for students willing to pursue architecture. JEE exam pattern and syllabus differ for these two papers.
JEE exam for B.Tech/B.E. courses will consist of 90 MCQs with a total of 300 marks. The exam is conducted online except for the drawing examination which is a part of paper 2A. The exam is conducted in 13 different languages, including various regional languages. In addition, students can opt for the exam in Hindi and English.
