The Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship 2022, or MGNF 2022, has been announced by IIM Bangalore in partnership with the Ministry of Skill Development, Government of India, for the academic year 2022-2023. Candidates interested in participating in this program should apply online at the MGNF website.
IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Jammu, IIM Kozhikode, IIM Lancashire, IIM Nagpur, IIM Ranchi, IIM Udaipur, and IIM Visakhapatnam host the MGNF. The Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship (MGNF) provides young, dynamic persons with the chance to contribute to skill development and economic growth.
The two-year Fellowship aims to combine classroom sessions at host IIMs with extensive field immersion at the district level (District Immersion) to develop viable strategies and identify hurdles to increasing employment, economic output, and promoting livelihoods in rural areas.
IIMs provide the MGNF Certificate Program in Public Policy and Management. The MGNF program is a two-year blended curriculum that includes sessions at IIMs classes as well as an opportunity to enhance skill planning and development in local economies. IIM Bangalore is hosting the Fellowship this year.
Eligibility:
- Fellows must be between the ages of 21 and 30, have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, and be Indian nationals.
- Proficiency in the official language of the fieldwork state will be required.
