It is a special program designed for the age group of students between classes sixth to tenth for their unique needs. This is the age group where students need to develop self-confidence, good learning habits and have deep knowledge about their subject. The Middle Years Programme is the full form of MYP, it is a student-centered educational approach. This approach helps students to see the connections between the academic disciplines. There are eight subjects which students need to learn in-depth, they are English or mother tongue, Language B, Mathematics, Humanities, Sciences, Technology, Arts, and Physical Education. Students are taught how to learn, they develop nice study habits, problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, communication skills, and many more. It is designed to give the students the confidence to be good learners. Students make connections between the real world and studies, they prepare for their further studies and success. They learn practical skills, how to use the knowledge learned practically in real life, students learn how to relate the topic taught in the class to the real world. It is recognized internationally, it is a challenging course that has a unique curriculum. MYP aims to develop students who are active learners into people who live a life of purpose and learning. It helps pupils to inquire into a vast range of notions that have great significance locally, nationally, and globally. The result of the program is highly developed students who are creative, critical, and reflective thinkers.
