The research paper format will be different based on the style guide you choose to follow. Try to stick to a certain research paper format to ensure uniformity. Irrespective of the type of research being done, writing an outline for it not only organizes the idea being conveyed in the paper but also serves as the template for the entire paper.

The first thing that needs attention is the paper. Make sure that the research paper is in the letter format, i.e. 8.5 x 11 inches in dimension. It should also be noted that the text appears only on one side of the paper.
Next comes the margins. Make sure that you leave a gap of 1 inch on the top, bottom, left and right sides of the paper from the edges. 1 inch would approximately be 10 spaces, so keep that distance on all sides. The exception would be in the case of the page number, which will be placed half an inch from the top right corner of the page.
Read the evaluation methodologies and outcomes. Also, read everything about the hybrid learning.
The title page comes next, but only if required. Page numbers need to be in Indo-Arabic numerals. It should be plain and simple – there should not be any fancy decorations around the page number. Make sure not to underline it, enclose it between parentheses, hyphens, asterisks, etc., “Page”, “Pg.”, “P.”, before it. Also, note that you should not add a period after the number.
The lines should be double spaced to fit the research paper format. Generally, you should leave one space after each word and one after each comma, colon, and semi-colon. However, make sure that you do not leave a space in front of a punctuation mark.
