Introduction
HTET basically stands for Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test, also known as Haryana TET. The HTET exam is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Haryana (BSEH), Bhiwani, for those aspirants who wish to build their career in teaching in the government schools and colleges of the Department of School Education. In fact, earlier, it was called the State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET).
Every year, the Board of Secondary Education, Haryana (BSEH), releases HTET notifications on the official website www.bseh.org. HTET notifications include all the information related to exam pattern, eligibility details, application dates and exam dates, etc. So in order to apply for the exam, you need to fulfill some qualifications criteria. HTET 2021 Eligibility Criteria Notification
Please note that as per HTET notifications, candidates applying for the HTET exam should have a minimum age of 18 years and maximum age of 38 years. Here is the rundown of eligibility criteria for different levels.
- Level-I (PRT) Teacher: For all those candidates who are willing to appear for Primary Teacher should have a minimum of 50% marks in class 12 with a 2 years diploma in elementary education. Even if you’re going to appear for final year exams, it can get counted.
- Level-II (TGT) Teacher: If you are appearing for level 2 exams, you must hold a Bachelor’s Degree along with B.Ed passed or appearing in the final year and 2 years diploma in elementary education.
- Level-III (PGT) Teacher: For those who are interested in teaching students of upper classes, they need to appear for PGT. However, it is mandatory to have a Master’s degree and B.Ed along with two years Diploma in elementary education. If you’re going to appear for the final year exams, it will be considered valid.

Admit Card Notifications
Admit cards are important if you want to appear for the exam. As per HTET notifications, you can download your admit card from the official website 2 weeks before the examination. Admit Card cum Roll numbers are compulsory for all applicants.
HTET Results Notifications
All those who have appeared for the HTET exam can check their results on the official website. Usually, exam results are announced within 1 month after the exam, and candidates can check their results by roll number or registration number. It is pivotal to note that candidates require 60% (90 marks) for all except SC/PH ( 55%/82 marks) to qualify for the exam.
As per the latest HTET Notifications, the HTET certificate validity period is now seven years as compared to earlier when it was five years. In fact, there is no restriction on the number of attempts, and even if you have qualified for the exam, you can reattempt the exam for improvement.
