SLET Exam Pattern
- The aspirants’ selection for the SLET Assistant Professor will be based on a merit list prepared by the commission for the MCQ-based offline test of 300 marks. To qualify for the post, the seeker will have to clear the MCQ-based offline test.
- The SLET test consists of two papers.
- Paper 1 consists of general subjects: Test Logic Capability, Divergent Thinking, Appreciation, and Available Mindfulness.
- Paper 2 would be the core subject which the candidate has opted for at the time of applying.
- The offline test carries an aggregate of 300 marks.
- The aggregate questions in the written test are 150, and 2 marks are awarded for every correct answer.
- The total time duration will be 3 hours.
- There’s no negative marking.
Examinees will be given two papers to choose from. There will only be objective-type questions. Types of questions to be asked include:
- Multiple-choice questions (MCQs)
- Type of assertion and reasoning
- Questions of a true-false nature
