Eligibility Conditions for Paper I
- Anyone appearing for the exam must have passed class 10 with 45% aggregate marks.
- The candidates must have passed their bachelor’s degree (B.Sc or B.A.) with a total score of 50%. Or candidates who have qualified B.Ed can also appear for the exam.
- Candidates appearing in a Diploma in Education or Diploma in Special Elementary are also eligible.
Eligibility Conditions Paper II
- Candidates who have passed a bachelor’s degree and those who are appearing in their final year exam can apply. Passed candidates must have obtained at least 45%.
- Those who have passed their B.Ed exam must have obtained at least 50% marks in the exam.
- Graduates with 50% marks and completion certificate of D.Ed.El can appear.
- Students appearing in the final year of B.Ed or a 2-year Diploma in Special Education or Elementary Education can sit for Bihar TET Paper II.
- Candidates who have passed their 12th exam and B.A.Ed or B.Sc.Ed can also sit for this exam.
