SUPER TET Educational Requirements for Papers I and II
The following are the requirements for candidates taking Paper I and Paper II of the Online Classroom Program TET 2021 Exam. These requirements vary based on the level of candidates taking either paper. At least one of the educational requirements for UP Assistant Teacher positions must be met.
Primary Teachers with a Super TET Educational Qualification (Class 1st to 5th)
- Candidates should be class 12 graduate with at least 50% and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- OR they must have cleared Class 12 with at least 50% and a degree in Bachelors of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
- OR class 12th graduation with at least 50% marks and be in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
- OR they must have a Graduation Degree and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- OR they must have a Graduation Degree and a degree of Bachelor’s in Education (B.Ed).
Secondary Teachers with a Super TET Educational Qualification (Class 6th to 8th)
- Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and a BTC from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
- OR a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks and a B.Ed / B.Ed Special Education from the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- OR completed Intermediate with at least 50% marks and four years in BA/ B.Sc.Ed/ B.A.Ed from a recognized NCTE and UGC institute.
- OR completed Intermediate with at least a 50% grade point average and four years of B.El.Ed in Primary Education.
- OR a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 45% and a B.Ed degree.
Super TET eligibility For UP Assistant Teacher
- Senior Secondary and a 2-year Elementary Education Diploma
- OR a Bachelor of Education and a Graduation (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks (B.Ed)
- OR D.El.Ed/BTC from a UP Government Institution
- OR 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
- OR 4-year BA/B.Sc. Ed or BA.Ed/B.Sc. Ed
- OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed (Special Education) AND Paper 2 (Class 6-8) TET Qualified

- Senior Secondary and a 2-year Elementary Education Diploma (by whatever name known)
- OR a Bachelor of Education and a Graduation (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks (B.Ed)
- OR D.El.Ed/BTC from a UP Government Institution
- OR 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR 4-year BA/B.Sc. Ed or BA.Ed/B.Sc. Ed
- OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed (Special Education) AND Paper 2 (Class 6-8) TET Qualified
TET 2021 Exam Requirements for Online Classroom Program
In addition to meeting the above-mentioned educational requirements for the UP Assistant Teacher Exam 2021, you must also have passed the UPTET or CTET examination.

The following are the age requirements for the Online Classroom Program TET 2021 Exam.
· 21 to 40 years old
Relaxation of Age for UP Assistant Teachers
Only candidates from Uttar Pradesh will be granted an age relaxation for the Online Classroom Program TET 2021.

Qualifying Scores for the SUPER TET Eligibility
The UP Board determines the qualifying marks or the Online Classroom Program TET Cut Off marks. It is determined after considering the factors that contribute to determining the UP Assistant Teacher Cut Off marks, including the vacancy rate, the difficulty level of the exam, and the like.
- Super TET 2017 – 18 cut off:
General: 60% (90 Marks)
SC: 55% (82 Marks)
- Super TET 2018 – 19 cut off:
General: 65% (97 Marks)
SC: 60% (90 Marks)
