Complete TGT Syllabus
The CTET examination is designed to test the candidate’s elementary knowledge in the respective field. Questions are framed based on the syllabus that is constructed by the CBSE board. CBSE also introduced some edits in the syllabus this year, and for the first time this year, the examination got conducted online.
Paper-l of the CTET syllabus is based on the NCERT syllabus of 1st to 5th standard. Paper-II is based on the NCERT syllabus of the 6th to 8th standard. But the questions that appear in the examination will be tough enough to test the candidate’s knowledge.

There is a lot of weightage given to Child Development and Pedagogy in the CTET examination. The paper contains thirty questions of one mark each. The main focus of this subject is Educational Psychology, which is the psychology of teaching and learning. Usually, this includes the psychology of the students of the age group 6 to 11 years.
The first topic of this section is Child Development. There will be 15 questions dedicated to this topic in the question paper, and each will carry one mark.
The topic mainly talks about development and how it impacts the learning process by discussing positive and negative growth signs. Some principles measure the development of children. They also talk about the socialization of the children and their multidimensional intelligence. They also talk about the differences among the learners and how to make students understand and deal with those differences.
The second topic is the concept of Inclusive Education, where they talk about how to teach specially-abled students and how to make them inclusive to the learning environment. Addressing their needs and problems is the main discussion of this topic, and five questions are asked, keeping this topic in the center.
The third topic of this section is Pedagogy and Learning. This is primarily the psychology part of education. It would be best to focus on how the children learn to think and what keeps them away from success.
