What is PTET?
A lot of people ask what is PTET. PTET, also known as Pre Teacher Eligibility Test is an exam conducted in Rajasthan to check the eligibility of candidates who appear for B.ed teaching exam. To appear for PTET, the candidate must be an Indian Citizen. They should also have secured a minimum of 50% of marks in their master’s or bachelor’s degree. The PTET exam is a crucial one for those who want to be teachers.

Here is how you can apply for the PTET examination:

2. Enter the details that are asked like contact details and academic details. Attach the images and signature.
3. An application fee of Rs. 500 is required. Deposit the application fee. Once the payment is done, you can take a printout of the application form.
The candidate can take the exam in Hindi or in English. The duration of the exam is three hours and the questions are in MCQ format. The paper is divided into four parts and each segment carries fifty questions.
3 marks will be awarded for each correct answer. In Attitude & teaching Aptitude Section, however, the answers will be scaled on a scale of 3 to 0 marks. This means that the answer to each question will carry a weightage of 3,2,1 and 0.
