IMPLEMENTATION, , In simple words, implementation is the process of putting a plan into action,, It is the fourth step of nursing process in which nurse utilizes her knowledge ai, skill for giving planned nursing care. Implementation is the action phase in which, initiation of the plan, completion and recording of the nursing care is done. It, includes nursing interventions for performing, assisting or directing the, performance of activities of daily living (giving mouth care, bed bath), counselling, (psychological support) and teaching the client/family, supervising others in these, activities. Implementation is a continuous process and interacts with the other ~, components of the nursing process. For example : while giving nursing care, nurse, continnously observes as well interacts with client/family, thus collecting the, necessary data and also assessing client’s behaviour, response. The time spent in, giving routine nursing activities is crucial time for further data collection., , Example : while giving back care, Nurse can observe the skin condition, elient’s, dependency level, mental status etc., , Even the planning and implementation phase of nursing process are sometimes, overlapped. For example : In recovery room, nurse observes that unconscious, client is vomited, immediately she will rush to keep client’s mouth on one side.
