They saw some, bones on their way., , u hey were the bones of an animal. The three scholars wanted, to find out the animal’s name. They decided to put their knowledge to test., , “I'll join the bones together ”, said the first scholar., , Then he quickly collected the bones and recited some mantras. The recitation, was over in a few minutes., , Good God ! What a surprise !, , The bones all joined together at once and there stood the skeleton of the animal !, Then the second scholar came forward., , “T’ll put flesh and blood to this skeleton,” he said and started his work., , ; He applied his knowledge of magic and touched the skeleton. Oh, how strange!, It turned into a lion!, , Now it was the third scholar’s turn., , , , , , , “T’ll give life to this lion ,” he said proudly. “No one can do it except me. I’ll, show my uncommon power to you all. This lion is as lifeless as a piece of stone,, but his heart will beat soon and he’!I be alive.”, , , , , “Hold on ! Don’t do it, my friend !” warned the fourth man. “ Please don’t, revive the lion and endanger our lives. He’ll kill us all.”, , But his friends laughed at him., , “Pooh- pooh ! You fool !
