123. Dr B. R. AMBEDKAR, , Dr Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar was born on 14th, April, 1891 at Mhou, Madhya Pradesh. His father’s, name was Ramji Maloji Sakpal. His mother’s name was, Bhimabai Murbadkar Sakpal. He was very good at, studies. He studied in various foreign universities. He, suffered a lot due to being an untouchable. He fought, against this throughout his life. He was appointed the, Chairman of the Constitution Drafting Committee. He, was one of the important persons behind the writing of, constitution. He served the country in many ways. He, was appointed as a law minister in 1947. We celebrate, his birthday as ‘Ambedkar Jayanti’. He died on 6th, December, 19356.
